Yes it is. Though not too many people are aware of it. It is partly lifted off from the incident leading to the rather mysterious disapearing events to the north of Norfolk in the 1930's. However, a lot of fictional incidents were added to it to make it a box office success.Is ';Th Blair Witch Project'; true?
That movie is the worst horror movie I ever seen it's retarded it's just about a couple of people who get lost in the woods trying to find blair witch you see nothing it's not even scary.

Some people say its true and they tried to pass it off as true but its not a true story, at least i don't think so. Saying it was tru was just a way to bring in more movie goers and make it seem scarier.
