I am wondering do u think its true? I heard that it happened in Massachsetts or Connecticut.
I hope not!! I also heard that a real tape was actually found similar to that.Blaire Witch project: true?
no it plays on the same kind of idea that the texas chainsaw massacre was a true story, but when i first seen it i got i little chilledBlaire Witch project: true?
It ';happened'; in Maryland. The original reaction was that it was real, because they kept the actors real names, there was no script and they were actually left out in the woods with cameras, and knew the general outline of the story and the directors left clues on where to go next so the actors could stumble upon them. It was a briliant movie, but entirely fictitious.
According to Wikipedia, the teaser poster and other advertisements for the film were designed to reinforce the 'documentary' concept, leading many people to think the film was an actual documentary, and that the three protagonists really had disappeared in the woods near Burkittsville, Maryland. To reinforce this idea, the Sci-Fi Channel aired a fake documentary, Curse of the Blair Witch, that claimed to investigate the legend surrounding the movie right before the film's release. The program contained interviews with friends and relatives of the missing students, paranormal experts, and local historians (all fabricated, of course). This was done so extensively that the three main actors were listed for a time as ';missing, presumed dead'; on IMDb.
Please stop asking this stupid f**@@!! question. It seems to come along here every 5 minutes or so--seriously.
