Is the Blair Witch Project a True Story???

No, they only said it was true to get people to be more interested in the story.

People actually fled to the town where the movie was filmed to look for ';blair witch artifacts';

It was all part of the film makers selling tactic.

They did actually have the actors improv everything, so it would be more real. the directors would wake them up shaking on their tent in the middle of the night [unexpectantly] so the screams would be real. Of course the cast was only instructed to do so much. But they were given their own cameras so it would look like a documentary.

The film was made very cheap lets say.

I actually learned about this in English 101Is the Blair Witch Project a True Story???
It was based off of a real night, so half way. The whole witch craft thing not so much just the basis of what the kids thought they went through that night. Is the Blair Witch Project a True Story???
No, it was derived from a local legend

Not at all. LOL
Yes, yes it is. So is Harry Potter.
Do you believe in witches %26amp; witchcraft dear?
It is not real. Before release, the producers used the internet to suggest the story was real. The sci-fi channel also aired a fake documentary ';Curse of the Blair Witch'; to reinforce this. It is however based on a real legend, of the ghost of Elly Kedward, who was executed in 1785 in the Blair township for being a witch presentday Burkittsville.
..What about Colorado?

I live in Colorado :[[

Now I'm scared :3
No, it was a total spoof that was made to look like a documentary. I think the whole think might have cost them a few thousand dollars.
No, just a boring one. If it was true, all that footage the kids filmed would be in the hands of the FBI right now, not available for 4 bucks at your local Blockbuster.
No and very boring too.
In my world it is.
