Is the blair witch project true?

YES. It is very real ! ... (%26gt;'.')%26gt;Is the blair witch project true?
First up, The Blair Witch Project'; is NOT a documentary. It is also NOT a scam. Nor is it a hoax. It is a movie.

Though the film is entirely fictional, the narrative is presented AS a documentary, pieced together from amateur footage. This style of film-making is sometimes called a mockumentary.

No one disappeared. They were all actors %26amp; all are alive and well %26amp; gave interviews after the film was released.

There is/was no actual Blair Witch. There is just the movie/s. The movie/s are not based on anything real. It is COMPLETELY fictional.

Oh, and in case someone mentions the ';Bell Witch of Tennessee';, the stories are not even similar. The Bell Witch is more of a poltergeist tale.Is the blair witch project true?
Complete and total fiction. Not even based on any true stories or mythology that existed before it.

It's just a fantastic movie with even more fantastic marketing.
I don't think so. I found it well made though. Now even if it is true, I really doubt it is because of a ';witch';. More likely a hermit or nutjob killer who tortures people who get lost in those woods. Sorta like real-life Saw. Still this would apply only if it were true.
It's totally real!!! Those kids were murdered by an unknown monster/witch and then some guy/monster/witch sold the film and a film company made millions off their deaths...and they didn't even have to pay them becuase they were already dead.....

Are you 8 years old? If you are any older than that, you should stop watching films all together.
No, it's fake. Look it up on IMDB or moviemistakes.com if you want to see any proof. However, the producers hyped it as if it were real, leading a lot of people to believe that it was an actual documentary.

It would be weird to have ';Blair Witch Project II'; if it were real, too.
The myth of the Blair Witch is not true. What is true is that a group of college film students made and produced the movie themselves as a project. No one expected it to be as huge of a block buster hit that it became.
No.

In fact, here is the actress who played the main character in the movie doing an interview with some late-night host:

They promoted it as if it were true, but it was all scripted.
No it's just a movie and they decided to make it like it was tapes found in the woods that was redone
They said it was ';Based'; on a true story..remember to just enjoy a movie not dissect it
It's fiction.
No
no
