Not even real in the slightest. Makes for a SciFi plot, and not much of a good one either. It is a fabrication of someone's imagination, and trying to con people out of a few bucks along the way.Do you think Project Serpo might be true? Geeks only?
The story reads like the plot outline for a bad science fiction movie.





If it was true back in 1965-1978, then what happened - why don't we hear about it anymore, where did the Serpo aliens go? Bill Ryan (chief proponent of publicizing Project Serpo) announced on March 5th, 2007 that he was stepping down from his role as webmaster for the Serpo material.


Ryan maintains his belief that an extraterrestrial exchange program did occur, although he states that the Serpo releases contained disinformation.


So the primary person defending the hoax admits that there was incorrect information.
