no ,it wasnt true... it was based on a Blair Witch legend...yes, it did came out on theatre and made lots of money...check it out yourself...

I don't believe it is real. It is based off the Blair Whitch legend. I bought the VHS a while back and it came with a bonus tape where they interviewed people about the legend and it was said that three kids did make a documentary but were never found.
