Last Starfighter 2 (true project) Do you support it?

I just read a list of rumored movies in the works,


Vegas one of my favorite shows got canceled without even finishing its present season BOOOOOOOOOOOOO.





but i was surprised to learn that after 24 years.





The Last Starfighter will see a sequel.





it didnt list a story line but to me id rather see a remake then a sequel.Last Starfighter 2 (true project) Do you support it?
It sounds like a straight to DVD project. It hasn't been greenlit though. The original writer wrote a script that will bring Lance back, but have the movie center around his son as the main character. It should be interesting to see what happens.





trust me production hasn't started, no has been cast. Lance Guest said he would do another movie. By in the works they mean they have a script, thats it.Last Starfighter 2 (true project) Do you support it?
The first one was pretty good. All a remake could add would be some CGI effects and more current stars.





A sequel holds the potential to be a lot of fun, with a chance to see more of the universe and races from the original.





I'm not surprised about ';Vegas.'; That much starpower, the caliber of the writing and the many location shots make it too expensive for the bean counters. You could do a whole season of ';American Idol'; for the price of one episode of ';Vegas.';





It's like the line from Don Henley's ';Dirty Laundry.'; ';We all know that crap is King.'; Quality Programming needs a huge and active fan base to survive any where but basic cable and syndication these days.
